SOCIETY WEDDINGS

Event Producer, Wedding Coordinator & Consultant

1. How do wedding consultants charge for services?

The fee of wedding consultants can vary. Some consultants charge a percentage of the entire wedding budget, which is normally between 10% - 15% when the couple requires full-services.

For day-of (which includes up to 1 hour of rehearsal) consultants charge a flat fee - Note: other charges will apply should you require other services, while some consultants charge an hourly rate for services, be it full-service, partial or day-of.

2. As I prepare to meet with my officiant, what types of questions should I ask?

Remember, as with all your wedding professionals, you should feel comfortable with this person...
1. Do you require premarital counseling, and if so, is there a fee?
2. We are from two different religious backgrounds. Do you perform interfaith ceremonies?
3. What are your fees, and when are they to be paid?
4. I have a wedding consultant. Would it be possible for you to meet with her to discuss the details of the rehearsal and ceremony?
5. Are there any restrictions in the church/during the ceremony (such as lighting, cameras with flashes, etc) that my photographer or videographer should know?
6. Can we discuss the order of the ceremony, and would it be possible to have a sample program?

3. We have to register, but where do we begin?

4.We are planning to have an outdoor wedding, but are concerned about the weather.

While your wedding consultant can give you alternate scenarios to planning a wedding, no one can truly predict mother nature. We are, however, providing you with a link to "Farmers Almanac" should you wish to track your special day.

... Besides, you're going to have a fabulous day anyway!
