On a personal note, its founder Janet Graves was raised by a mother who was what one would call extremely industrious. She would always be doing something. In weddings, she'd either be making cakes, designing wedding attire, or making floral arrangements. So without realizing it, Janet grew up in the industry and ultimately knew that someday she'd launch her own business. This dream was realized and Janet started Not Just Weddings, a full service event planning company, specializing in weddings. Operating Not Just Weddings and assisting in the planning of not only weddings, but events such as christenings, baby & wedding showers, anniversary & engagement parties made Janet realize that she should dedicate a separate opportunity to the business of weddings -- Thus, Society Weddings was launched.
